Dit ben ik

Mijn dromen en ambities

From a very young age my passion has always been in the field of creating exotic food dishes. That's why I furthered my passion by enrolling into cooking school,to learn the fundamental elements of how to become the best chef I can be. I decided to expand on my knowledge, by gaining work experience at various restaurants on the island and particularly enjoyed working at places that attracted the most tourist. This was important for me because it gave me an insight into different food cultures from around the world. Apart from cooking, my hobbies included participating in competitive sports and more specifically softball. I was part of team at junior level and enjoyed being the team captain. It allowed me to gain important qualities such as working in a team and being a leader. I also have a passion in working with children and occasionally I have volunteered in helping parents with child care issues. During my time in school and at work, I have gained many valuable qualities which include being organised, reliable, hard working, punctual and remaining passionate it whatever I do. I hope my knowledge and experience in this field will help me in all my future endeavours.

During this time I was working at Blue bay Curacao Beach. My duty of work included; making pizza, french fries, kroket and panin's this took place at the fast food restaurant quisco sale. Unfortunately, i had to leave to gain work experience at the restaurant 'Steak and Ribs' which was located at a popular tourist location called the Rif fort.

During this time I started doing work experience at the restaurant Steak and Ribs. The food I prepared included arepitas,make mise and French fries. I unfortunately had to leave to return back to school.

During this time I worked at Boaose. I mainly worked in the kitchen making cake, ice-cream, chocolate cake, tiramisu,bread,salad, voorgerecht and nagerecht. This was also part of me gaining work experience.

23-12-2012 tot 14-02-2012
During this period I was working at the Marriott hotel. I did both room service and kitchen work. The food I prepared was ice cream, salads and deserts.
