7 years ago, I’ve started as an International New Business Manager at Steps Footsocks BV with the task to introduce their products in the East European market, including Russia. Later my market expanded to the Asian, the Australian and South-African market. In Asia, I introduced our products to Japan, South-Korea, Philippines, India, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.
In 90% of these countries, we were totally unknown. In almost 6 years, I’ve achieved that we are selling our products in almost all countries above her. This, I’ve achieved by direct contact on head-office level of the major supermarkets and / or textile chains. But also by contacting (and coaching!) indirect channels (distributors), who having contacts with the major retail chains in their countries.
I’m interested in a new challenge as an International New Business Manager. And again, I’m interested to work for an ambitious FMCG company, who wants to expand their market internationally by direct or indirect sales.
Specialties: Key account management, Consumer Goods Marketing/Trade Marketing, FMCG and regular consumer goods Business Development. I'm a specialist in sales force motivation and organization who can bring out the potential in others.
